Kvarta in Germany
As part of a history-focused field trip, the students of Kvarta and 2.B visited neighboring Saxony on Monday, May 5.
In a fun and engaging way, they learned about the history of Dresden and the nearby fortress of Königstein. They expanded their general knowledge about our neighbors, their history, and cultural landmarks.
During their visit to Dresden, the students explored the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, the Semper Opera House, the Zwinger Palace, Dresden Castle, and, last but not least, the majestic Frauenkirche. Of course, they also enjoyed a bit of free time in the city center.
Many thanks to our headmaster for the excellent commentary and to Ms. Johanová for her kind and helpful company.
School Trip Adventure – Paris, Monaco & Spain!
This year, our class Kvarta went on an unforgettable school trip across Europe. We visited amazing places like Paris, Monaco, and Spain, and had the best time together.
In Paris, we saw the famous Eiffel Tower – and yes, we took lots of pictures. The city was full of beautiful sights, delicious food, and great memories.
Then we traveled to the glamorous Monaco, where we walked through the city, saw luxury cars, and enjoyed the view of the harbor.
Our trip continued in Spain, where we explored Barcelona – a city full of colors, art, and cool buildings like the Sagrada Família. One of the best parts was swimming in the sea at Tossa de Mar. The weather was perfect and the water was just right.
It was a school trip we'll never forget – full of laughter, learning, and great adventures with our classmates.
One day, our class went to the park for a creative and fun school happening. It was a special day full of art, movement, and nature.
As part of our art class, we created land art – artworks made from natural materials like leaves, stones, branches, and flowers. We carefully placed our creations into the environment so they became part of the park itself.
We also used our own drawings and art tools to make the space more colorful and alive. But it wasn't just about visual art – we added music, rhythm, and even dancing! Some of us performed acrobatic moves like flips, and others joined in with different instruments and movements.
It was a fun mix of visual arts, physical education, and teamwork. We expressed ourselves freely and used nature not just as inspiration, but also as a part of our artwork.
This school happening showed us how school can be creative, free, and full of joy – not just inside a classroom, but outside in the real world.
